Become a Member or Renew Membership
The Chopin Club thrives on new members, for which there are two categories, Active and Associate.
ACTIVE MEMBERS are invited to perform at their choice of one of the designated musicales. To become an active Active Member an applicant, sponsored by two members of the Club, must perform required compositions in an audition before the Board. For information, see the Application for Active Membership and contact Haig Yaghoobian, Membership Chair. Well-known musicians of professional standing may be invited to become Active members without the formality of an audition.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS do not perform, but together with active members are welcome with their guests at concerts and teas, and are eligible to serve on committees; they are especially encouraged to help with the teas, if they are so inclined. To become an associate member, download and complete the downloadable application form, or attend a musicale, where forms are available.
The Annual dues for Active and Associate Membership are Twenty-Five Dollars payable on or before July 1st. Members permitting their names to appear in the Yearbook are required to pay dues for that respective year.
